This band has an unheard-of level of persistence and dedication to the art form – they’ve been in operation since 1921. Not only that, but it took them 95 years to win their first contest!
Within the last decade, they’ve begun focusing on a more modern and experimental style of pipe band music, and their hard work and creativity finally paid off at the past TWO years at the New Hampshire Highland Games, where they took that top prize. You can see them sporting Saffron Kilts and competing in Grade 5 in EUSPBA.
They're rep in the calendar is one of their leading pipers, Shane Welch.
Shane has been playing the bagpipes for several years. Outside of playing with the pipe band, he also plays pipes and whistle for New England Celtic Punk Rock band Mickey Rickshaw. They have an eclectic blend of rock styles that got them invited to perform on the famous Flogging Molly Salty Dog Annual Cruise!
